Three Easy Juicer Recipes
Here are three easy juicer recipes that you and your family will be sure to enjoy as well as reap the health benefits from. These healthy juicer recipes can be consumed straight from the juicer, blended with ice and low fat yogurt for a delicious smoothie, or frozen in to popsicles.
The first recipe is the tropical blend and will wake up your taste buds. You will need the following ingredients:
-three ripe bananas (not overly ripe)
– one pineapple
-one papaya
-three mangoes
-four mandarin oranges
-four tangerines
-two coconuts
-three guavas
-three Bartlett pears.
Follow the instructions for your juicer to extract the juice from the fruits listed. Different models vary in the way they are used. If your juicer does not blend the juices automatically, you will need to combine the extracted juice in a large pitcher and stir vigorously until well blended.
The next recipe is the orchard blend, the instructions are the same as for the previous recipe. You will the following ingredients:
-two Macintosh apples
-two gala apples
-two golden delicious apples
-four yellow cling peaches
-four Bartlett pears
-six apricots
-six nectarines
– a hand full of Bing cherries pitted
-four large plumbs of the dark purple variety.
This orchard blend is sure to take you back to the long summer days playing in the farmyard.
The third recipe is the berry patch blast. The instructions are the same as for the first recipe. You will need the following ingredients:
– two pints of fresh strawberries
– three pints of fresh blueberries
– two pints of fresh raspberries
-one pint of fresh boysenberries
-one pint of fresh blackberries
-three Bartlett pears for texture.
This blend is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
All the recipes listed above can be divided in one pint containers, frozen, and thawed for later use. Most of the ingredients can be found at the supermarket year round except for the berries. In the summer when the berries are easy to find you can make a large amount of the “berry patch blast” and freeze it. You will be able to enjoy it year round by thawing under warm water. These are fruit based blends, but you can also make healthy vegetable juicer recipes. When filling containers for freezing do not fill completely to allow for expansion during the freezing process. All recipes are full of essential vitamins that your body needs.
