Choosing the right manual juicer can often be a daunting task. A juicer is often times a very important part of an individual’s kitchen. Choosing the right one should not be taken for granted.

One of the first things you need to decide is your price range. What does inexpensive mean to you? And how much are you willing to spend on your manual juicer? The fact is you might be better off throwing your price range and budget out the window and not settling for a manual juicer until you know it’s a durable juicer, and until you know the price isn’t a complete rip off. Don’t just go to your local store and buy the only one that fits into your “budget.” It may seem like a good idea at the time, but when you are faced with a juicer that is hard to clean and barely works, you will know you made a mistake. When you are looking for the perfect juicer try to find one available in stainless steel, these are juicers that are easily cleaned and with them you will completely avoid lingering fruit odors.

If you aren’t looking for a juicer online, and you are shopping around, try to make sure you are shopping for a juicer when it is a likely time for the stores to be promoting that kind of merchandise. For example if there is some sort of fruit festival going on many stores will be very likely to have deals on the juicers that they are selling. Be a smart shopper, think about the things you are buying and think logically.

You should avoid many companies out there all together. There are many companies known for their horrible customer service and poorly reviewed juicers. These companies are just in place to make a quick buck off an inexpensive item.

The perfect manual juicer is out there for you, you just have to take the time to go and find it. Do your research; shop around on the internet for manual juicers. Read reviews, and ask family and friends on their opinions about manual juicers. Don’t make the mistake of settling for something that is most certainly a rip off, be patient and take your time. There isn’t a reason that you can’t get an awesome manual juicer at an affordable price. Eventually you will find the perfect deal and the perfect juicer for yourself.

An important factor to be considered when buying a juicer, is knowing how readily available juicer parts are for that model. When searching for a juicer, one should look at the customer support available from the product company; this is a key factor in knowing how easy it will be for you to replace faulty parts. Some of the more popular juicer companies make acquiring juicer replacement parts easier than other companies make getting juicer parts. Jack Lalanne juicer parts for example, would be easy to come by. At the same time, you would find it much harder to get juicer parts from some of the smaller, less known companies.

One of the most common mistakes people make when shopping for juicer parts, is going off the appearance alone. There is a reason that manufacturers give each unique juicer their own model and part numbers. Just because you find a replacement part that you think looks just like the one you need to have replaced, does not necessarily mean that it is the right part. Replacing faulty parts like this could end up being costly and on some occasions even dangerous. Make sure that when replacing parts, that you find the exact match of the part you need.

You will come to learn that one of the most important parts of the juicer is one of the parts that you will find yourself replacing the most. That part being the juicer blade. These blades can wear out after continual use and get rather dull, these dull blades will be much less effective and will require more power than a sharper blade would require. Getting the proper blade is very important. A blade that is off at all in weight or length could end up being dangerous for you. So make sure you find the exact blade that came with your model juicer when replacing it.

You have to remember that your juicer has many moving parts that operate at high speeds. Therefore, the proper fitting of all your pieces, including your lid, is necessary to insure your safety when you are juicing. Even the smallest of differences, and cracks can lead to large messy clean ups for you or even worse you getting hurt. Make sure that you get the exact part your juicer came with.

When searching for these juicer parts it should never be really difficult, depending on the juicer that you have. You can find most of these parts online or just by calling the manufacturer directly and making an order for the parts that you need. Just be safe and make sure that you get the exact part you need for your juicer.

Calling in and buying your first juicer or replacing your old juicer if motivated by a television commercial might be the best impulse buying product you ever purchased. It is surprising just how few people know about juicers and their importance in a healthy diet.

Most people are being consistently told that they need fiber in their diet and for them fiber is the bulk found in fruits and vegetables. Only a few people know that fruits and vegetables put through a juicer makes a drink that will act as a colon cleanser in a very dramatic way.

But if the price is reasonable, there is no reason not to buy a juicer if you happen to need. If you see a citrus juicer commercial or orange juicer commercial, take notice, especially if you have an older juicer. The old juicers, those built in the 70’s and 80’s had a motor that didn’t seem to be able to burn out. The newer juicers work on the same principle, but they do burn out especially if overloaded with vegetables that you are trying to juice. When calling in to buy your new juicer, be sure to ask if there is a guarantee with the machine should it burn out within six to twelve months.

There are some television commercials that offer special promotions when you purchase their product. It’s a great idea to get in on some extra gifts that might go with your juicer. A smarter idea is to write down the phone number and do a little searching online for the same product and compare price and optional accessories to your juicer.

However, you buy your commercial juicer, if you have begun to look into the product and the price is right, a television commercial might be the easiest and quickest way to get a juicer into your home to begin enjoying the benefits of fruits and vegetables juiced at home.

Here are three easy juicer recipes that you and your family will be sure to enjoy as well as reap the health benefits from. These healthy juicer recipes can be consumed straight from the juicer, blended with ice and low fat yogurt for a delicious smoothie, or frozen in to popsicles.

The first recipe is the tropical blend and will wake up your taste buds. You will need the following ingredients:

-three ripe bananas (not overly ripe)
– one pineapple
-one papaya
-three mangoes
-four mandarin oranges
-four tangerines
-two coconuts
-three guavas
-three Bartlett pears.

Follow the instructions for your juicer to extract the juice from the fruits listed. Different models vary in the way they are used. If your juicer does not blend the juices automatically, you will need to combine the extracted juice in a large pitcher and stir vigorously until well blended.

The next recipe is the orchard blend, the instructions are the same as for the previous recipe. You will the following ingredients:

-two Macintosh apples
-two gala apples
-two golden delicious apples
-four yellow cling peaches
-four Bartlett pears
-six apricots
-six nectarines
– a hand full of Bing cherries pitted
-four large plumbs of the dark purple variety.

This orchard blend is sure to take you back to the long summer days playing in the farmyard.

The third recipe is the berry patch blast. The instructions are the same as for the first recipe. You will need the following ingredients:

– two pints of fresh strawberries
– three pints of fresh blueberries
– two pints of fresh raspberries
-one pint of fresh boysenberries
-one pint of fresh blackberries
-three Bartlett pears for texture.

This blend is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

All the recipes listed above can be divided in one pint containers, frozen, and thawed for later use. Most of the ingredients can be found at the supermarket year round except for the berries. In the summer when the berries are easy to find you can make a large amount of the “berry patch blast” and freeze it. You will be able to enjoy it year round by thawing under warm water. These are fruit based blends, but you can also make healthy vegetable juicer recipes. When filling containers for freezing do not fill completely to allow for expansion during the freezing process. All recipes are full of essential vitamins that your body needs.

Nowadays, more people than ever before are looking for convenient ways to improve their health and one such method being employed is drinking high-quality and tasty natural juices that have been created from a juicer machine.

For sure, stainless steel is certainly the best metal to use in food service preparation for many reasons. For one, it never rusts and it is extremely resistant to gouging and scraping that can occur when less durable metals used in food service preparation are employed. That’s why something like a stainless steel citrus juicer can work extremely well.

A juicer of stainless steel quality can also be very easy to clean whereas some juicers that are made of other metals or plastic, for the most part, can be a real grind — to use a pun — to clean and maintain. It’s a good idea to take a close look at the juicer steel quality before purchasing any unit, because it’s a fact that even some of the most expensive units may not employ high-quality stainless steel.

As an example of a high-quality juicer made of this wonderful metal, consider a stainless steel wheatgrass juicer, which is highly capable of taking one of nature’s super foods, wheatgrass, and processing it into an extremely tasty and very healthy juice drink. In the greatest thing of all is that it takes almost no time to produce that drink with the right kind of stainless steel juicer.

Generally, juicers of whatever material come in two types; manual and automatic. For those on a limited budget and who don’t mind turning the crank and pushing down the plunger, a manual stainless steel juicer can be a good way to get started on the road to healthy juicing habits. It may take a little longer, but the unit is mechanically simpler than an automatic juicer and it may be a bit easier to clean if it is composed of the right material such as stainless steel.
Most people, though, will go with an automatic stainless steel citrus juicer or a general-purpose juicer designed to accommodate a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and turned them into juice.

For those who value health and fitness and who want high-quality juice that they have had a hand in making themselves, one of the best juice machines on the market has to be those models made by Breville. Indeed, they can make the act of juice making generally easy.

A good example of a quality unit is the Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain. This unit isn’t inexpensive, which is something that should be said right up front, but for the capability and the quality of automatic juicing that it delivers, it’s almost second to none on the market. Add in that it is extremely stylish looking and it’s hard to find anything to quibble over.

For instance, this 1000 watt powerhouse — which lists for a hair under $400, retail — does everything with a super efficient manner that impresses right out of the box. It comes with two speeds, handles soft and hard fruits and has a nice 3 inch feeder tube that cuts way back on preparation time. If that model seems a bit high in terms of budget, another unit that does exceedingly well at turning out Breville juice is the Breville JE95XL Juice Fountain.

This particular to speed model has a list retail price of $199. It is professional-quality and executes juice extraction very efficiently. It can also adjust to each juicing load, which helps to extraction of juice from fruit. It comes with an 850 watt motor and can turn an amount of fruit into 8 ounces of high-quality Breville juice in about 5 seconds.

These units are now widely available through a number of online and brick-and-mortar retailers and at prices that are sure to be attractive. When it comes to the right one for you, you should take into account not only the price of the juicer but how often you’re going to be juicing and what you’ll be juicing.

When it comes to Breville juice products, the matter of which juicer is the right one for you will depend on how often you use the juicer and what you need it for. Certainly, there are a number of models that fall in price from under $100 up to the top tier model, which is the 800JEXL. Pick the one that works best for your particular circumstance.

Jay “Juice Man” Kordich is a revolutionary health educator whose path toward health happened quite unexpectedly. Although now he is known for his former endorsement of juice man juicers, and now juice daddy juicers, the “Juice Man” was not always so focused on health. He was star football player at USC and then contracted bladder cancer at the young age of 25.

Rather than go for conventional treatment, he traveled across the country to be treated by Dr. Max Gerson who prescribed an all juice diet. Within three months, his life was transformed. The cancer was gone and he had discovered the powerful benefits using juicers.

He re-emerged as The Juice Man on national television in 1989. He made appearances with his Juiceman Juicer and spread the word about the benefits of juice. He endorsed a line of several different Juicers including the Juiceman Jr. and Juiceman Deluxe.

He wrote two books – The Juiceman’s Power of Juicing and Live Foods, Live Bodies with his wife, Linda Kordich. The first book sold over 2 million copies and got to #1 on the New York Times Best Seller’s List. The second book became evolved into a multi-media course including 2 DVDs and 5 CDs. His infomercial aired for 13 years. He preached the power of juicing everywhere and even garnered an impression by Jim Carrey on “In Living Color.”

In addition to the infomercials, the Juice Man appeared on over 500 television shows. He’s appeared on the cover of USA Today and the Wallstreet Journal. He was also featured in People magazine, Forbes, New York Times and the Washington Post. He’s been interviewed on over 1000 radio shows.

Today, the rights to the Juiceman Juicer belongs to Salton Inc. Jay “Juice Man” Kordich will now be endorsing the Juice Daddy line of juicers. Here’s a clip of him talking about the importance of juicing.
